Break Away Unit 1-2 Axles with Switch

Change the way you protect your trailer investment with the Engager break-away system! Designed to bring trailers to a complete stop by activating the elelctric brakes, in the event the it becomes disconnected while towing. Trailers over 2000kg gross trailer mass (GTM) must be used with a break away unit, in order to meet Australian safety requirements. This break away unit is 12V unit, to use it with a 24V large truck you may need a voltage reducer installed in the truck.
